Patch #2 Available (Jun. 13th)
Release Notes:
  1. Loud Announcer - sound level during fights have been adjusted to match the original output level.
  2. Tweaked code that contributed to time out issues for some users.
  3. Graphics - Improper lighting when Stage Quality is set to LOW. This has now been adjusted to match the original effect.

Rest assured we're keeping tabs with your feedback! The team is still aware and are investigating the reported lag issue after the Steamworks transition -- this is taking a bit longer than anticipated given net code and other behavioral differences between GFWL and Steamworks infrastructure. We'll keep you posted on the progress.

Any word on disabling the microphone in-game so I don't have to disable it in Windows?

Thanks for your hard work.

Copying in my remarks from the announcement section as it's somewhat relevant here:

"Yep, we know there's a strong fan base for Street Fighter so rest assured it's not our intention to keep fans completely in the dark. It was also a bad timing given most of the project team has been busy attending E3.

Some of the reported issues, particularly the network behavior, is difficult to comment on or fully commit to a "yes it will be fixed 100% by XYZ date!!" since there are many unknown factors and variables that may be contributing to the problem.

Other issues, including client-side mute functionality and full-screen toggle, is logged in the feedback list. Priority right now is the net code and lag affecting some users."

The June 6th patch added an option to adjust voice chat volume in the Sound menu.

That only affects the voices of other players.

Thanks for the continued work. Unfortunately I am having a worse experience now than before.

"Waiting for opponent" is now much more common. I just had one match where it popped up every second (literally) for the full match. In other matches it wasn't to that extreme, but it's still more common.

Prior to today I could actually play for like 2 hours and see this problem only a few times. Now it's a much, much bigger problem.

Good luck with this monster. I know that it's on the console too.
