people will quit during game for various reasons, among them being:
- they're trolls
- they feel like they're losing because of some serious lag
- they don't like the way the opponent played
- they feel the opponent doesn't deserve the win (especially if they're about to lose toa lower ranked player)
- they don't like being beaten, and this guys will quit everytime they lose badly
on a different note, from my experience, anyone who has EU only in their name has bad internet, so in your case it's probably the lag part
