Any chance at all for SteamWorks conversion?
This is the best Lost Planet game as far as multiplayer goes and it absolutely sucks donkey balls that it's no longer functional since GFWL is gone.

No word from Capcom, so i guess no.

I doubt it. The only gfwl capcom game that was moved to steamworks was SSF4AE because they intend to release the Ultra content as DLC

I dunno what to make of that statement, i just hope they continue to support the old games, and that the new games don't make use of GFWL.

I'd buy this in a heartbeat if it went Steamworks. There's no point buying this if GFWL is closing since most of the fun in LP2 comes from the multiplayer.

Thanks to CRAPcom and GFWL

Maybe people shouldn't have listened to the dumb ♥♥♥♥s saying not to buy it on sale because GFWL was shutting down - even though that was always a rumor and never a fact.

You're wrong actually, it was never a rumor, but a confirmation when M$ said they were going to shut down AoE: Online, they also said that GFWL was closing down, but then they excluded that statement, and also, if was a rumor, why suddenly devs started to convert their GFWL games to Steamworks? Even Capcom did with SSFIV:AE, so why they did it? Just for fun?

I don't think you know what confirmation means. The fact that it didn't shut down is kind of undermines that all together.

Dude if you know M$ you know they always do those kind of things, like giving up on shutting down a server or support for some OS.

Spelling the S in Microsoft with a dollar sign went out of style in 1998. A company wanting to make money, fancy that. You've figured out their ultior motive!

What's wrong with stopping support of an unprofitable or old product, exactly? Either way, it's irrelevant since it's up to Capcom.
