A small trick for points challenge
I'm bummed that more people don't play this game. It's an awesome game. It just wasn't promoted well, I think.

Here's a small trick I learned for points challenge mode that made it much easer to consistently score high: You can create new “circle” blocks (the ones that clear all of one color) by hitting all three colors of bonus blocks without breaking your combo. This is why a new one is automatically created every time you use a star.

Also, the multipliers go up much higher if you have a larger combo when you hit them. If you don’t break your combo, you can get them up to x99 very quickly.

Yep, I figured this out too awhile ago and got some good scores. Always leaving your Bonus Time a big--star board reset is useful too. Still dont know how you get those higher end point achievements without rediculous dumb luck.

As a development to this i can add: ignore points at all - concentrate on generating those "circle" blocks - i always biggest part of my score in overtime, so the more blocks, the more overtime/ Actually, when i generate 5 blocks, 600 000 points are guaranteed for me.

6 such blocks granted me 903 555 points. I am relatively slow guy so if someone of you could have 7 or more blocks, i think 1 000 000 would be an easy point. Btw, i am trying to instantly clear multipliers if they are close together as it is hard to get circle block if they are close

Edit: 1 259 838 points with 5 circle blocks... Looks like its best spend last 10 seconds on increasing multiliers AND making them to be as close to the center as ossible - they will be used in combos much more often then. If multipliers are too low, as game clicks from top to bottom, they will never be used. If too high, they will prevent block falling, meaning much less big blocks. Being close to left/right border is bad too, as most of action is in the middle.

Edit 2: multipliers bing close to circle blocks= bad.
Big stars= VERY BAD, as they will be clicked only when no other move is possible.

GAAAH. I almost had this game figured out. I tried a new strategy of increasing one multiplier up to x99, then attaching as many Magic Turn blocks to it as I could.

Turns out that the points from a single move is capped at 999,999

Anyway, I found this out:

* You get a circle block from clearing any 3 multipliers in a row without breaking the combo and without clearing a big block that doesn't clear a multiplier. (Using stars and other circle blocks can help). I usually do this at the very beginning as fast as I can, to give myself 2 circle blocks that can help me get the multipliers up to x99 very fast.

* You ALSO get a circle block from clearing 5 big squares with one move! This is hands-down the best thing to do before time runs out, as it not only generates a new circle block for the Bonus AI to use, but it also clears the board out of one color, allowing many chains to form of other colors (and hopefully more circle blocks by making 5 big squares at once)

My best score is about 1,800,000 so far. I feel like I can get the 2 mil achievement with just a bit more effort. The 5 mil achievement still totally baffles me, though.

What do you mean by "bonus block"? What is the symbol on those?
