Well, to start, buying Titan Quest WITHOUT Immortal Throne is like buying a sweet 4x4 truck with only two tires. Seriously, there shouldn't even be an option to buy them seperate... Also, NO. Diablo is NOT better. Moving on.
I believe my time in game is something around 30 hours, but that's just in Steam. A few years back, before I had Steam, I had easily 200+ hours until I built my new computer and lost all my game saves...very much my own fault. You don't even have to like Greek Mythology, if you can just tolorate it, you'll find yourself dumping so much time in to this game and loving every second. The mods you can find online are really good too, although, I highly recommend NOT using them until after your first playthrough. You can very easily break the game and make it a bit boring with the mods.
Don't be afraid to re-roll!! All the classes are quite unique. In addition, getting access to a second class makes the classes that much deeper. I can still recall my first few hours of the game: Constantly saving that damn horse!! >.<
I can't give this game enough stars (probably because there aren't any), it's definitely one of the games that got me hooked into RPGs, for a game that's-what, 10 years old? Older?-I still put in some hours on it. On my desktop as well as my laptop...because I HAD to have multiple copies for when I'm not at home.
Buy both games (Titan Quest & Titan Quest:Immortal Throne), or just buy Titan Quest Gold.
Click Titan Quest:Immortal Throne.
Don't forget to feed and water yourself. Showers don't hurt either.
