It's like an external stash for TQ. Pretty handy because yeah... Even after first 2 acts on normal, most people's both stashes are full of relics and charms and recipes like you said. So TQVault is a more elegant solution than mules.

After all, is there any valid reason why this game can not have a huge or unlimited stash?
Yes i know, but it's not Path of Exile or Diablo III, it's not on a server so using any tools with it is not that big of a deal. Besides, the devs only just now recently picked up work on it. So far, the game was abandoned and that's why people created those tools. There's nothing wrong with that, and nowhere does it say how the game is meant to be played.
Hell, i played Path of Exile for a while and that game should have half the features TQ already has, but didn't and heavily relied on 3rd party indexing sites and 3rd party programs to make certain aspects of it tolerable. Still does today. And the devs don't care.
As far as the in game thing, you'll have to ask the current devs if the engine can support unlimited stash. I think it could be done, but i don't think it's a priority. The devs already made such huge improvements to the game but it would be nice to have a huge stash though, i agree.
But as i said, in the meantime, you already have what you're asking for. Just not in game. And seeing as how the game is not some competitive PvE trading simulator like D3 was and PoE is, getting 3rd party help to store your stuff is not looked down upon. It's just a singleplayer game with a basic MP element.
Pardon me for being cynical, but maybe they should share their almighty wisdom behind limited stash space. I got about 20 stash tabs in PoE, and that's enough for a loot game like this. GGG is one of the few ARPG devs who hasn't shunned the idea of expanded stash space. Its a quick and easy fix to include additional stash tabs for purchase. I would be happy if they gave me just 5-6 tabs to work with.
