Currently, the "pause" menu (which comes up by stopping pedaling and pressing both triggers) doesn't actually pause the game. This is partly because so many of our games have drop-in, drop-out multiplayer. It would be a nice feature to have for single-player games like Cowboy and Chopper, though. I'll put in a suggestion to the developers for this.

... It does occur to me, though, that this would allow for an easy way to cheat unless we're careful about how we implement it. Our single-player games are partly endurance-based, so pausing would give players a chance to catch their breath and come back later to increase their score. It wouldn't be an issue if pausing disabled leaderboard or trophy tracking, though.
yeah can't really pause in a workout game. I don't think we need pause.

Thanks for the reply, I realy do think you need a pause, had a great time playing but wopuld like to stop with out having to play the whole game again, save in game point would be nice.
It makes no sense to save if playing with a virzoom. Unless you're playing with a joystick.
You know, maybe there should be a local play mode that doesn't count towards the leader boards, gives you some more control over intensity, and lets you do things like pause if you want to. Obviously, different people are looking for different things in this game. Just a thought.

yup, don't really care about leaderboards just like to play the game.

There is a local play mode that doesn't count to leaderboards and doesn't record any data on your account, but it only activates when you're disconnected from the internet. Is that something folks would like to have access to without unplugging their router? :)

yes

Well, good news: It's in! If you choose "Add User" from the first menu on PC (or launch VirZOOM Arcade for the first time), you're now presented with the option to launch directly into offline mode rather than registering an account.
