lvl freeze

I've lost 3 toons in a row now, all between 23 and 26. During a fast travel, which will take unusually long to load, the screen will freeze when it does finally load, then the game will shut down. After that, everytime I attempt to load that character, game will freeze and shut down after several minutes. My forehead hurts from smashing my head on my desk. Anyone having similar issues (freezing, not head smashing)?
