Support
Hi folks! As many of you know, I'm a one-man show. I'm trying to answer everyone's issues here, but most of the time I'm busy coding and fixing. I'm trying to answer all comments, but it is difficult to be everywhere. I've been neglecting the other forums for AM4, AMTM and AMWE, but unfortunately that's how it has to be.

If you need assistance and I don't answer you here right away, you can always email me at support@bigfatsimulations.com. I usually respond within a couple of hours.

Thanks for supporting the Airport Madness game series!

what are goals or rules to get building traffic awards

BUILDING TRAFFIC ACHIEVEMENT: Move at least 200 aircraft in game mode 'Building Traffic';

That one has kicked my butt 5 times at least on Rocky Mountains... The last 20 always get me. Gonna go try it again now...

I've just had a crash where two planes that have taken off, crashed just before they exited the play area after the climb out. I don't believe we have any control over the planes at that point, do we?

No, you do not. What you will find is that faster aircraft will catch up to slower aircraft. I'll be bringing back the Concorde in a few days (update 1.10) and players will learn to build in some space between departures.

In real life, headings are sometimes used (slower planes turn right, faster planes go runway-heading), but often they just apply a little extra time between takeoffs.

That'll make building traffic 'interesting'. :)

It will be interesting to hear feedback on the Concorde, which has long been a controversial item in Airport Madness.

Just a couple improvements proposals to make Airport 3D game interesting.

1. Is this possible to make score reset button?
2. If Player can make a better score, could be great to see how much better, in "scores" menu. Some kind of splash screen to asknowledge this event.
It could make a game more interesting and competitive.
Thank you.

sdhartha,

Thanks for the suggestion! Added to the list.

The main feature of the Concord (apart from its superb aspect) is its speed of arrival, take off and landing. Actually, you cannot mix it in a dense line with others, or at least have one (slow aircraft) taking off right after it.
This increases complexity in case of heavy traffic.
I suppose this challenge was thought of on purpose.
I'm sad when having a crash because of Concord speed ! Grrrr !

Thanks for your work.

Yep, sometimes I send Concordes to their own departure runway, so that I don't have to "build in space" like I do at my real job.

I need to ask a question I already feel stupid asking! :) I've seen some videos online showing some informations on plane label during game (like airplane model or speed) but I didn't find the way to have this informations shown while playing on my computer. Could this be a matter of Mac / PC versions? I only tried my mac version. Can you tell me where I can find those settings? Thank you!
