I can understand that you guys lack creativity but this was really low. Unlocking all the cars take hours upon hours of game play and now you can get it in seconds just by opening your wallet. Are you guys serious? It's not even new content, it's just pay to get the old content you didn't care to unlock by actually playing the game!

Nothing wrong with making money but making money by defrauding is another thing. In a trade people are exchanging value for value. I did my part. I gave them my money. Now when I have recieved my share (the game) they are decreasing the value of that game by doing things like this. We did our part of the deal. Now it is time that Codemasters stick to their part and do the best they can to keep the integrity of the game.

This is the second time they really did something fishy with Grid 2 and the game have just come out. Remember when they gave us 10% of the game as a carrot for pre-purchasing and than they just lowered the price right after release so our supposed bonus wasn't a bonus? People pointed it out in the forum and they fixed that. But still it is really sad that they tried to get away with it. I really like Grid and I will consider myself a fan of the game. But that doesn't mean you guys doesn't have to earn my respect.

I find this particularly irritating because I can't play single player because of the bloody return-to-first-garage bug which won't let me progress past seaon one of the WSR....and no there's no incentive to play multiplayer at all...

I actually can't remember the last time I was this pissed off about a game. I wouldn't mind if it was actaully crap, but its actually good fun...it just doesn't bloody work!!

@Tsunami well they were already "unlocked" for in-game purchase using the in-game dollar you get for playing.... (albeit with level/XP limits)

Yeah but you need to reach certain level to be able to buy cars. I'm lvl 23 and I can't buy the Bugatti or the Koenigsegg, which will unlock at lvl 27 and 28 . So even if I have the money I can't buy them at this level.

ok so it is a bit clear exactly how much the DLC unlocks the cars; whether by cash or level or both.

nevertheless it destroys part of the incentive of levelling up MP, and given I've got no single player progress I can make (see bug above) I'm still grumpy :(

It for sure takes incentive away to strive now for better cars. I read ppl are using cracks to play MP now, do they also have all the cars? Maybe codies is trying to re-balance the game (and their wallets at the same time.)

Does the unlock just remove the level requirement?

Do you still have to have the cash to buy the cars?

Or, are all the cars available with no level required and no cash needed?

Well this is properly called "pay to win" but I am never going to play online long enough to get to level 30 especially with the madhouse that playing online is now. Playlist racing is a madhouse of crashers and some hackers and Custom racing is hundreds of hours of boring grinding the same tracks over and over. No thank you.

So to get my moneys worth out of the "parts" of the game I've already bought I think the unlock is not too expensive. Just look at the prices at NFSWorld, a single car can cost $7 USD. I quit that game when the first DLC was released, many promises were made and promptly broken.

Terrible terrible terrible idea, Codemasters just spat in the face of all those working online to get all their cars .. why bother .. just pay $7 and get them all instantly! Pay to Win rubbish! You should have to earn the right to play those cars.

If Codemasters want MORE cash then maybe actually release some new tracks and cars .. I would buy them all .. but this rubbish / cash-in line of thinking that this is acceptable is completely wrong ... has turned me off playing this further Online now.

Seriously Codemasters .. you thought this would be a good idea or are you just looking at the $$$ signs?? Booo!

ea did the same thing with bf3, i didnt get it because playing to unlock thing gives the game a bit more fun / replay value. if you have everything unlocked, then its gonna get boring faster.

also like in bf3, just because they have all the fancy ♥♥♥♥ unlocked doesnt mean your gonna have a hard time beating them, a noob with a flash car is still gonna spin out even on a straight lol

I played online for a good 3-4 hours last night and didn't see anyone with a car they shouldn't of been driving for the level they were at. This pack is clearly not selling well, and rightly so.
