Turn off programs like Raptr,Xfire, RadeonPro, etc... just to eliminate them as potential issues.
Right click on Grid 2 icon in Steam client -> Properties -> Local Files -> Verify game integrity.
I looked for .dll's in the game that it could be but since I'm not having the problem I can't really test anything.
Also, give more system info. Like operating system, processor, vid card at the least so we can try to troubleshoot it.

If you are experiencing random crashes while loading the game, you can try the following workaround:
In Documents, go to Documents\My Games\GRID 2\hardwaresettings.
You should look for the file named hardware_settings_config.xml.
Open the file in a text editor and look for the line:
directx forcedx10=”false”
Once, you find it, you should change it as follows:
directx forcedx10=”true”
Save the changes and run the game again.
