My Suggestions:

+ Destruction Derby (both): Please add destruction derby to this game too.

+ Oval track (both): The oval track is great for testing a car's straight line speed.

+ Super easy tracks: Add a few tracks that are really easy to drive, to compare car settings.

+ Proper solution in MP against crashfest: Add something in MP races to ensure the children will think twice before crashing on purposely into other cars. Not just by making hitmarkers in the front, but definitely on the sides and the rear too. (they'll go sideways or break on purpose to hit you!!) My solution would be to give penalty points on every single collision to both cars, and remove someone from a race if they have exceeded a certain limit whitin x amount of races. For example, 15 contacts whitin 3 races. First race, someoone hits 6 times, 2nd race, someone hits 3 times (6+3=9), 3rd race, someone hits 5 times (6+3+5=14), 4th race, someone hits 5 times (3+5+5=13), 5th race, someone hits 6 times (5+5+6=16), person is removed from the race for making too much contact.

+ Weather conditions that change the carhandling: I'd love to see that the track has become wet and that you'll spin out quicker because of that. Optionally, noticable winds that gives you a nudge.

+ Allow to spectate an ongoing match while in the lobby: When you join a race, it is very frustrating to just stare at a blank screen without knowing how far the race is in progress and thus how long you have to wait. Further more, it would be nice to actually look at something interesting. Why not allow to spectate the current game while you wait? Now, people join a list, see that its in progress, and quit again. Very frustrating to see many people join and leave as you race. They do this because they hope that joining a lobby again places them in a lobby that will start soon.

+ Screenshot of the upcoming map in lobby: I suck in remember maps, and as a result I often drive a bad first lap because I keep relearning which map I am driving. It would be awesome if multiplayer shows which map you're gonna race using a visual: image of the surrounding, including day/night and preferably a map of the route itself too

+ Ability to do a custom race against the computer (SP) with your MP car: In GRID2, your cars do not perform the same as the singleplayer variant. Because of this, you can't test your grid2 car in every situation you want unless you have a multiplayer friend who wants to help you. A custom race with AI still requires at least one friend. It would be cool if you can race with 0 other friends, optionally allowing them to join later or not, but until then, do not change any stats. Just so you can test car handling and such.

Based on the blogpost of 24-04-2014:
+ Assists per vehicle rather than overal setting: I really like the sound of the diverse assists the game has to offer, but like in real-life, some cars just can't be driven well without ABS while others can be driven better with ABS off (etc). I couldn't make up if it is per car or as global, but the way it was formulated in the blog post, it seemed like a global setting. My suggestion would be that it is per car rather than overall, or perhaps both. Like: Overall ABS is on, and on the car it can be set to 3 settings: On, Off, global (where global is what you have set as overall setting)

A normal car handling. GRID 1 had some sliding here and there, but GRID 2 had uncontrolable driftfest on ADHD, that was barely fun.

If you read the blogpost, you'll see that this is something they already have changed. In fact, it will be even closer to a realistic sim than Grid1 was. The "this is a drift game" won't be the case for grid autosport.

I would like to see:

1.) wheel control seeings like in GRID 1. Same wheel I can not use in GRID 2 ( I can remap the controls but it does not recognize that it is a wheel so using it is really bad )

2. Bumper cam with a cam that is not set on a bumper level buy driver's eye level. To be honest I would love to see a custom cam option but I know only one game with that and i doubt they will do that. But it would be great.
Hood cam is great in GRID 2 so I hope it will be good in this game also.

3. Online racing with collision is great! BUT a lot of people will hit you on purpose so it completely ruins online gaming.
So collision OFF option would be great. Raporting, penalties etc. I just think are not a good enough solution.

What about this solution: Collision is OFF but if you try to pass your opponent by going trough him you will slow down. So you can not hit him, but also you can not go trough him because you will slow down , so even with collision OFF you would have to go around him.

4. I hope there will be more focus on online game. For me good multiplayer is more important then campaign. Racing against real people is much more fun.

p.s. For me that trailer looks great. Finally some game I can look forward TO . I just hope it will run as good as GRID 2 on my PC.

@ LPChip: They already confirmed Demo Derby.

For MP modes I'd like to see endurance/race/drift and some other variations but certainly not eliminator or checkpoint. Check out below video at 415 seconds.

Those 2 concepts are horrible. Checkpoint is very biased depending on start position (overtaking 10 cars or 0 cars). Eliminator for multiplayer makes no sense: I do not want to wait/watch a killcam (cfr fps games) for 30-60-90 seconds while my friends/opponents drive on.

edit: I do hope party mode means like splitscreen and not like online multiplayer.

I would just like to add one more thing.
2D menu! I just want the fastest menu. 3d menu maybe looks cool to some people but to me it just slows down the process.

A rearview mirror will be cool too.
Zupakahahaha Apr 22, 2014 @ 12:33pm
-Broken front mirrors and glass and back view glass
-Broken headlights and rear lights
-Raindrops on the front glass and helmet if the glass is broken along with the dirt and dust or smoke whatever, like in the first toca's
-Headpressure from the GForce accelerating and stopping (I guess if the driver is trained or an amateur)
-Buttons turning headlights on/off and rainwipers.

ok feedback:

-Destruction derby : sure why not , wanne see a codemaster destruction derby version
-Oval track : sure , lets test the speed
-Super easy tracks : yes
-Proper solution in Mp against crashfest : Damage on/off in option like in Shift and other races and grid or just Game over.
- Better support for steeringwheel like in GRID 1:ofcourse ( I dont own one steeringwheel yet)
-Dashcamera : not really needed for me, aslong as there is a helmet cam with steer
-More focus on MP than SP : Its good to have Mp but its good to have a very good strong AI too

Give us a full game, not a half baked game, with missing sections that you need to purchase as DLC

Can you add Iran to the countries you can select in the game? Thusfar it was missing, and we really do exist!

You're welcome :)

The collision problem is SIMPLE to solve. For any intentional collsions - swerving into someone on a straight or plowing into them in a corner, impose a time penalty just like a corner cut.

Believe me, if someone knew they would have a 5 second penalty everytime they bashed someone they wouldn't do it. Of course incidental "just racin" collisions would not be penalized.

Here's a GREAT idea. Put the map in the MIDDLE of the bottom instead of to the left. I have to look away from the road to see the map. They could even do a transparent map overlay to the screen when you press a button.

Allow HUD View in Spectate Mode. A lot easier to bust hackers when you can see their car is doing things that car doesn't do.
