Windowed Mode

When I launch the game, It doesn't go full screen only windowed mode, which SUCKS !! I tried re-installing 3 times, same thing I want my full screen not a damn windowed mode. If anyone knows how to fix this please respond. Thanks.

Thanks for the reply, but I already tried to change the fullscreen = "false" to "true" and save the file. This problem remained. If I use Alt + Enter, the screen flashes black and the game returns to windowed mode again. Also, I hear the "beep" of the operating system.
DiRT Showdown is also only works in windowed mode.
DiRT 2 works just fine

drivers? or have you tried the ingame option for full screen?

Drivers recently updated - another games works without any problems.
Found some kind of solution in "hardware_settings_config.xml" file edit string <directx forcedx9="false" /> ----> <directx forcedx9="true" />
It allows game start in fullscreen mode, but.. it disallows stereo3D ;(

Forcing the game to run under DX9 instead of DX11. Hmm... Anything running as background program? Like anti-virus or some other software? What about if you press the auto adjust button on your monitor - no effect?

disabled software like skype, skydrive, antivirus and started DiRT3 without forcing DX9

P.S. Shift+enter / Ctrl+Enter? Alt+Return (the delete key)

Shift + Enter / Ctrl + Enter - no change
Alt+Return => screen flashes black and the game returns to windowed mode again

I do not want to use the mode DX9, since bought the game with native support 3D, to play on 3D TV panel =(

Details = 4xMSAA, 8xAF, Mixed of Ultra and High setting. AO at Medium.

I got it to work, It just went fullscreen by itself which was awesome, just don't alt-tab that might mess it up again from what i've seen. Good luck racing fellas.

Maybe it's the turn off of the integrated graphics card from the processor...
