You start the game>instantly "Stopped working" error>Close the program.
Windows 7 and exactly the same error signature in the event viewer.
I'm not even able to enter the cd key on the windows live client. It freezes before I can finish :(
Do anyone have a fix? (already tried verifying local data without luck)
Problem solved!
<directx forcedx9="true" /> instead of false
forceFeedbackProcessor="1" dvdStorageProcessor="1" dataSetMonitorProcessor="1" renderProcessor="0" updateProcessor="2" fileStreamProcessor="1" />
The above sequence tells the game what core on the cpu to use for various things. The game is setup to take advantage of multi core cpu's but I think it does it badly. This tells the game to only use cores 1 and 2 for the above items.
These changes worked for me and I saw no decrease in the visual quality of the game or slowdowns.
