Please be aware it uses a third party drm login called "games for windows live"

This means that you login to steam.. click to play your game.. then you have to login to windows live..

I myself will not be purchasing this because of that fact alone. I do not support excessive drm use.

Well, that's the point. If Steam is DRM then why does it have another DRM?

I don't have problems with GFWL, but I prefer if games don't use it.

Well I just spent 40 minutes setting up an account and trying to log in. It would deny my account information over and over again till it finally worked... it was horrifying. GFWL = never again.

I don't mind GFWL as I have an xbox and it all goes towards my achievement scores and I can keep up with my xbox friends inside my supeiror pc version.

Sometimes GFWL bugs out for me but most of the time it's fine.
And you don't even need an account, you can just make an offline profile. I don't think most people know that.

Im really not interested in opinions. I dont like excessive drm in my games. its not needed. Plenty of games boot up right from steam. That is how it should be for most.

GFWL is pointless
Origin Is pointless
UPLAY is pointless..

all can be found shoved into great games for no reason other than to make money pushing dlc's

Steam is the primary distribution source of most any game today. They are more than enough security for any game.

I have a problem with these third party drm and distrubution platforms and want them gone from my steam games. so i refuse to play games with third party drm.. yes i am missing out on tons of good games but that is what integrity is.

At no point do i give any ♥♥♥♥♥ about your opinion on me crying (and seriously look up the definition in the dictionary your embarrassing yourself) I was simply providing info to potentual buyers like me that want to avoid needless drm..

It was informative.. you on the other hand are crying.. and hence my less than nice response.

No i am saying steam is the only one that actually works. And instead of FORCING needless secondary drm into the games maybe the companies should just try to beat out steam instead. Not by forcing players to use their service but actually providing a service that is not broken for fourty percent of the people who are forced to attempt to use it.

and if the are going to continue to make these bad third party drm programs i will continue to hate on them and say steam is the best. Because steam IS ACTUALLY the best and only valid one.. These others are not actual competition but just leeches making your experience less fun just so they can get there own addspace in there.

ALSO YES IM LOGGING ONTO STEAM BECAUSE I WANT TO SUPPORT STEAM.. a good company run by a total baddass.. yes.. i want them to be top.. because steam is the only one of the programs that have proved that they actually give a ♥♥♥♥.. yes of course steam is out to make money like the rest of them. but at least they realize that simplification is the way and not convoluted third party steps.

That's true but you also will not have the benefits that come with a live account.

In fact don't you have to register your game through a live account - I can't remember?

(Although GFWL is the worst I have found)
