Help needed: game does not start

Friend overlay says that im playing the game, but then it quits. I have recently moved my files from hard drive to ssd, but I have tried uninstalling then reinstalling a few times with no avail. Other games like grid 2 and f1 2013 work fine.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi, I couldn't play it either. Tried many things like reinstalling GFWL and resetting some network stuff etc. but nothing helped. What actually makes it run was reinstalling Windows. If the game is worth reinstalling Windows is up to you. :) ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ GFWL...

for my brothers pc, the only way we could make it launch was by going into the dirt 3 folder and launching it from there. I think it was the second file with the dirt 3 logo labled Dirt_game.
this also was the only was to start up Operation flashpoint dragon rising aswell. Doens't make sense to me but we could always launch it from steam after that.

I have tried using the shortcut, using the application files named dirt3 and dirt3_game and none of those options work. Perhaps you could go in greater detail in where the folder is, the one I am looking at currently is under DiRT 3
