What would you like to see in the next DiRT?
Just out of curiosity what would you like the next DiRT to be like?
What kind of things do you want in terms of cars/tracks/events.
What did you like from the previous DiRT's?
What do you want to see killed with fire?
What kind of things have been other games you'd like to see in DiRT?
All that kind of stuff - hit me with everything.

Based off the guys from our old forums (the new ones will be up soon if you happened to be a user) and the guys who tweet us etc I've a pretty good idea but I've never seen it really mentioned on here.

We want to hear all your ideas, pop them below.

I really enjoy the rally events but they felt very short. A longer competition event with more individual races and a greater diversity of tracks would be much appreciated. It would be nice if the tracks themselves had more character and by that I mean I wish I had a greater sense of actually being in a different country; rather than on a generic snow, mud, sand course etc.

I loathe the gymkhana events in DiRT 3 with a passion. I don't enjoy them at all and having to to get some kind of placement in those competitions in order to progress is just infuriating. I like racing; not doing tricks and donuts. If you could kill that with fire I'd be very pleased.

Pure Rally + Rallycross. Longer rally stages. No matchmaking, make lobby list. Oh and please PLEASE bring DiRT 2's 350z :D, loved that thing to death.

Showdown was for "fun" game modes, but that's over, lets just get going with rally and rallyx, make it big on these things, instead of focusing on game modes that not many people enjoy or that you used in a game (showdown) just focus on more tracks and car classes.

I'm sure DLC will be part of the game, but be reasonable with pricing and content, you guys seem to be focusing on community now days so I'm sure DiRT 4 will be what most of your fans expect.

Dont make it like GRID2, cut gymkhana, and expand on the entire rally premise that dirt 3 had.

- only pure rally and maybe rally cross, nothing more (cmr games, rbr and wrc series on ps2 are still the best rally games to date for me)
- big selection of countries and stages with lots of diversity (not just 1 big stage that is cut into smaller ones to make it look like 8 stages per country)
- big selection of rally cars from different eras (i miss cars like lancer evo4 and 6, impreza from 98, 2002,

i think what lacks in racing games today is the tracks, i would like to see a game that puts big emphasis on having lots of different tracks, having 50 different tracks and only 1 car and 1 mode is more important to me than having 50 cars and 50 modes but only 1 track, if u know what i mean

and for even more diversity i would suggest an option for mirrored and reversed stages and a combination of the 2

No more gymkhana.
If you want DLC restructure it so when I play every other car I try to choose doesn't cost money, or at least I don't have to see them. Microtransactions aren't fun and it makes me want to avoid your games.
More classic liveries or a livery editor. Im not sure if its a licensing issue but some different varity over which energy drink you like would be nice.
More vehicles included with the game. I want to buy the game one time, not be nickled and dimed over every car that you should have put in the game in the first place .
More Pastrana just because he is a baddass.

Pure rally, very long stages, hard damages, only see Mobil 1 Rally Championship and copy with Codemasters powerfull tecnology ;).

Correct location names. There's no such thing as "Riveria Open". It's called the French Riviera : )

Before you make a new game can you (of respect for the ones who buy this) make the number 3 work. It freeses after second round in Finland in championship. I have reead about many people having the same problem. And it is not posible find any addon to it anymore. After my and manys bad exsperience with number 3 I will NOT buy another game of this serie again.

You should do what you guys do best, a great rally game, just rally, no BS! Please..
Superd00ps Feb 16, 2014 @ 3:45pm
that's easy,...remake Dirt1 and enable all modes in multiplayer with all vehicles on all tracks! the usual upgrade graphics, sound and weather from Dirt3 and you'll have a winner :)

OH,...DO NOT pave Pikes Peak and make it for wussies!

More locations and RALLY!!! And of course a better multiplayer!

It's been posted tons already, but seriously, scrap the Gymkhana and give us longer and more varied rally stages. I actually really liked the Malaysia and Baja courses in DiRT 2, and I'd love to see the Canberra rally from Australia. Also, more old school cars please. The modern S2000 / WRC cars just aren't as fun as the Monza, M3, or '95 Impreza. More Trailblazer would be great too!

Rally,Rally and again RALLY!!!!! For the love of GOD pliz create a game similar with original (Colin McRae Rally 2005) that was a tibute for the greatest rally pilot Colin McRae (R.I.P).
We lack good rally games, no more ken block crap ( or if you relly want that tipe of games create a DLC only for that tipe, but allowed the base game to focus only rally) Ciao

I was thinking about the future of the DiRT franchise, and I came to the point that I would be very happy to see the previous three (not including Showdown) combined in one, with current technology. It could be DiRT: Collection or something like that. I guess the files from those three titles are compatible with each other. Of course you would have to retexture and polish them, but it must be still easier to do it than taking a fresh start.

At the end we would get:
- dozens of rally stages and rally cars
- a complete rally championship mode
- the same goes for other disciplines (like rallycross, or tophy trucks)
- a combined career mode which includes every disciplines, but the player can choose which ones would they keep their focus on (like ignoring gymkhana)
- the handling of DiRT2 (it was the best, hands down!)
- a clear, neat user interface (á la DiRT1)
- garage setup options similar to the ones in DiRT1 (and that really makes difference in car handling)
- and so forth (i have other ideas as well)
