Xbox controller disconnecting Dirt 3

Okay during any race my wired xbox controller cuts out like 10 or more times. Ive also installed dirt showdown and does the same. My controller works fine on other games and on the xbox. Anybody got a cure?

is your power profile set to hi performance? make sure in the profile the usb is set to NOT sleep.

How do you do that?

control panel, power options, hi performance. try that first.

if the usb still falls asleep or disconnects go to the profile and change the settings for usb/sleep.

Nah still same issue. It was on power saving mode and switched to high performance

If you're using a front panel usb change to rear panel.

You controller works fine in another games? No conflict buttons? Well, maybe you can disable HID-compliant game controller, not all the HID, just the controller. Worked to me here. If don't work, just activate again. See ya!
