DiRT3 does not start anymore
I've bought DiRT3 a month ago and had NO problems to run the game. Until now. The executable crashes. I've re-installed the game and I've even re-installed GFWL. I have no problems to sign-in with GFWL, this seems to work. What can I do?
My system: WIndows 7 32 Bit, 2GB RAM. Again: This is a 32 bit System with limited amount of RAM, I know. But this was not a problem so far...

Thanks for helping me!

Is this a Steam version?

Yes, it is a Steam version.

uninstall GFWL completely. then reinstall, then try verifying cache in properties on the game in your library. Then if that doesn twork, you might have to reinstall the whole game.

It could possibly be your system, maybe.

Thanks for your reply. I've already re-installed the game and also deinstalled and installed GFWL, also following to the tipps found here in this forum. Unfortunately that did not solve the problem.
What I do not understand: DiRT3 was running perfectly for a month on my system. Then, suddenly this problem occured. I've nothing installed on my machine, no drivers, no software, no hardware, no other games... :?

Dirt does not hang, it crashes while showing the small DiRT3 splash screen: "The process has stopped working. Searching for a solution...blablabla". I have a Radeon 6870 installed. I'm currently also in contact with Codemaster support. I'm sending crashlog files, system diagnostic info etc. But no solution so far...

After dozens of mails sent between me and CodeMasters support without any result, I've decided to re-install Windows, but this time as Windows 7 64 bit. Now, Dirt3 runs again. That's the good part of the story.

Tha bad part is that we could not find the reason why Dirt3 suddenly stopped working after hours of gaming.
