can't open the demo

I want to test the game demo, but when I click to play it sends me to the game page and the demo doesn't oppen. anyone knows how can I play the demo?

Same here on the demo. Windows 7 finally tossed up an unsinged driver error. Must have something to do with that. Glad I didn't waste 2.49 on a gamne that won't load. Just removed it from shopping cart.

The game runs perfectly, only the demo is broken. This has been said several times in several threads in this forum.

You might as well consider the Demo to not exist. However buying the game it's fully functional so long as you take the time to look up nVidia PhysX Legacy Drivers, drivers specifically tailored to running older games.

Also I believe the Expansion does some bug fixing and rebalancing of the original game?

Yep. I bought the game, and it installed with a minor hiccup but ultimately it was fine. The setup tool only sees my integrated video card though, not my discreet one. That's odd. But it runs.

If it's a nvidia card, go in the nvidia control panel and in the game settings you can set your nvidia card to be used instead of the integrated one.

The Demo has Tages Setup DRM, that wont work on Win 7. The full game has no Drm, so it's work!

OK, they should fix demo to make it work on Win7, DRM free or supply DRM fix for Win7.
Its highly likely it wont work on WIn10, and ruins usual good Steam compatibility. Also, what can I think of buying game, if I cant run demo?

Step 1: You need to manually set admin privildges to exe
Step 2: game tries to install unsigned driver on launch. This must be resolved by game makers

If one can't get the demo to work hard to want to give the game a chance. I was looking at getting it on GOG as it is on sale for $2.59 Canadian there.

I couldn't get the game to open either, but I had also purchased Silverfall: Earth Awakening, which contains the original game and the new additions, and that version of the game did open for me. So, if you still want to try this game, just get the Earth Awakening version.
