I don't know what is going on with yours. But my Siverfall (both of them, since they both use the same directory) takes up 9G on my HDD.

My actual download for the base game is 13.5 GB.

The original game asked for 21 gigs originally, the expansion (when I was installing them incorrectly (out of order)) was asking for 12 gigs.

After everything was properly installed and working it's now taking 15 gigs.

I assume it downloads extra files for the installation process or some such, which then gets cut out immediately after installing, and then perhaps Steam does some compression automatically to game files? I have no idea.

It's all very well Steam saying it's 21GB when it's only 10GB required, bu what if you don't have 21GB free, but you do have more than 10GB free?! Grrr!

Oh, and re-reading the posts; funny how Silverfall (10GB) plus Earth Awakening (12GB) comes roughly to the 21GB steam says Silverfall alone needs!

The Silverfall Store page says 10GB, my Library page says 21GB (forcing me to uninstall a game I didn't want to, to free up space!) and the actual install was 13.5GB! Of course we're all foreced to download TWO DirectX folders an PhysX in it's own folder AND the install folder! Steam obviously assumes we all have multi terrabyte drives and 50GB broaband!
