You will see what that means in the October update :D
Also, do you get different types of tailes which also matters, for example a sort of tail which adds strength to your creature, and are the eye-colors going to matter later on in the game?
populating islands is all well and good but if there was more to it, or if that goal was reached by some kind of accomplishments it would be more intersting.
Though I guess that if one wanted some kind of boss monster the islands would be better of designed rather than randomly generated. (are they by the way?)
hm, I guess one could have the aim of breeding something suitable for the next island as a goal somehow....
Either way, I'm loking forward to seeing how this turns out.
Anyway i really love this game and i'm excited for new genes and stuff -and effects on some of those that are already there ! =)
My thoughts with this was mainly that there doesn't seem to be a whole lot to it yet, and so once you've managed to complete everything you set out to do on your own to do list, it risks getting boring and... hm. I guess that's alright in a way. games doesn't have to last forever.
well. what if you could mod it?
modding and ... nah I don't know. I guess I should actually try the game before coming with suggestions. Though Knowing I'd have to pay more to play in early access makes me want to wait, purely out of a monetary situation.
I'm looking forward to it either way.
Yes, I think this too, set your own goals, decide when you are winning :)
Sicknesses are planned to become a bigger topic in the swamp biome update :)
There will be different kinds with different effects and infection rates, infecting your whole tribe if unlucky. Sexually transmitted diseases would also be a great fit, but I'm not sure about that yet.
There might be sicknesses that only effect animals with certain immunity genes, but also is only still an idea. Age or sex related sicknesses sounds interesting too, need to think about that :)
SO MANY IDEAS >_<
Also: Most likely on the day of October maybe a little bit earlier.
