The Infamous Gills!

I am roughly 10/11 hours into my playthrough of Niche and no gills yet! It's really annoying as I would really love the new genetics to show people on my channel, and I've managed to get it on two personal saves straight away!

How has everyone got on with aquiring the gills? Do you think its more likely to randomly mutate with the water body for example? Also, how quickly did you get the little duck bill I've been seeing around, as I haven't come accross that either :3

Luckily water body now provides +2 waterbreathing meaning gills arn't need :)

Really? How did I not know that haha! Well, I have plenty of water bodied creatures in my game :3

Ok 0.2.1 is now on the preview and experimental branch :)
Note:
- If you load an 0.1.9 save file the invisible leech bug may still occur on animals that had a leech from 01.9.
- Water Body now also gives waterbreathing + 2

So in my first water tribe the gills appeared quite late and the beak after them. So far in my newer playthroughs the gills have appeared a little bit faster but not that much and the beak still hasn't...

I got gills before I even got to the second island...

I got gills and the beak instantly. I will say this, though, if your creatures have water body, don't get gills. poison fangs and the beak are much better options
