Why does every outcast have split nose?
It doesn't make sense to me, surely not every wandering male is a phatom of the opera.

I donno why splitsnout is worse than Big Nose or Normal Snout, they're all useless compared to poison fang.
Isn't Nutcracker rather useful? Anyways, an ability to kill the offspring would be useful.

Forgot about that one, but nimble fingers usually negates Crackerjaw. So

Uniquely useful: Poison Fang
Useful: Crackerjaw
Useless: Splitsnout, Big Nose, Normal Snout

Not every outcast has the spitsnout. I just met one with cracker jaw and also had some with the normal nose though the spitsnout is the most commonly found

You might mean the Horny Males- all of those have the spit snout. Wandering creatures can have any nose. You might just have bad luck.

:/ it's just annoying, the horny males are relentless when it comes to♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥my females. Even when I attack them they just keep moving towards the females.

^Yeah, I wish they'd fix that in particular. If a female defends herself, that should turn the horny male off. Instead, I've either had to quickly breed her with the closest friendly male or have her run away and hope for the best.
I wouldn't mind it so much if the horny males actually had some variety and usefulness in /some/ shape or form, but as they are right now it's super annoying.

I agree a horny male shouldn't be able to breed with a female that slaps him
What I would do with unwanted young is have them be explorers, that simply do that work of exploring and preventing bad births from happening to the good animals.

They still take food, and I've done that before. Strange thing is, they tend to not die.

Yeah it is so annoying, everybody around me complains about the bird stealing babies and when I need the bird to steal the babies I don't want it isn't there!

It's so annoying, also I've never had trouble with the eagles! I always keep at least two adults at the nest at all times, the babies tend to live long lives (unless a carnivore happens to surprise me)

Well the bird worked for me on the older version of the game ^^ Not always but more often than now, well now it doesn't do anything at all and I am on the hard island (not kill ;) ) I don't understand anyways how babies end up getting eaten by the bird on accident, except people forget then I can understand ^^
