Unable to Disable Virtual Reality (I Don't Have an Oculous Rift)
I did something a long time ago to activate this first-person-third-person hybrid, which was recommended by friends. I asked them on disabling it, and they either don't know what I'm talking about or don't know how to do so. So now I am stuck in this virtual reality mode until I can bloody fix it. I don't know how to disable this nor do I know any console commands that have to do with this virtual reality crap. Can someone please help before I lose my mind? Thank you.

Try creating an autoexe that has the line viewmodel_fov *** (*** being whatever number you want it to be).

Is it where you see your character's body when you look down? If so it MIGHT be the command : cl_first_person_uses_world_model

If it is set at 1, try typing "cl_first_person_uses_world_model 0" into the console and see if that disables it? (Provided this is the issue you are having... I believe this is one of the only VR console commands accessible by people without a Rift.)

Good luck!

This was actually the issue. Thank you for your help! I always found the world model in first person a little distracting. Especially since it's buggy on the Engi and Pyro (I think). Once again, thank you, I can now enjoy some TF2!
