Tf2 items and why so pricey?
Ever since the mannconomy update came out, i was excited like most people to get the items i love, however i notice now they are making an economy out of tf2 and i just want to know why its like this and cant be a more giving community.

Since the mannconomy update ive always wanted to get the bills hat and earbuds combo cause they look good, but due to these prices i doubt ill be able to afford them.

most items are cheep as hell now, most hats cost less then what its costs to make.

some items are up there like uns, bills and buds, but thats beocues they dont drop and the people that have them dont allways sell them

You can craft or find most of the items there.

High prices are to encourage you to earn them, but give you the option to cut the work and buy it.

I understand but come on, 27 keys for earbuds, a pair of earphones seems rather ridiculous for a promo. i would just think it better if people would be more open to people rather than being so butthurt to sell items.

Because that's the natural way games form? Find a game where every item is as common as the next. It's supply and demand. Also I managed to get like a 5 buds inventory just through some trading, without spending money or scamming people. It's not hard, it just requires thought.

What I don't understand is why on earth people buy anything from the Mann Co. store other than keys, paints and Mann Up tickets. For example, a new $10 hat is basically worthless in the TF2 economy since everyone wants clean hats, wouldn't it make more sense to buy 1 or 2 keys and just trade for the hat you want? You'd save money, have a nice hat and It'd be worth more in the economy. Also people who buy the $5 dirty weapons when they're brand new, you could just wait a little and get the weapon for 1 scrap.

Well i guess we cant change whats gone on for 2 years, i just wish people were a lil bit giving towards those who dont have what they want, be charitable or something like that.

Plus i know this aint a good example but borderlands are a nice community of people who give their items regardless of what they are worth, thats what i hope people will come to do in tf2.

People like to be greedy and ''sell'' their items to get a profit. Then they go around buying virtual hats, wasting all of their money.
