Demoman left behind
Hello everyone, in my opinion the demoman is a left behind class if it's about weapons. Nearly every class has more primary or secondary weapon but not the demoman. he only has the loch'n'load and the scottish resistance. I would wish there were more weapons for him. In the workshop there are plenty great ideas of new grenade launchers or sticky bomb launchers. why isn't a single one realeased?

Because Valve is slowing killing the entire race of Demomen. Up next on the extinction list are Medics and Engineers. Genocide.

Hats are one thing. Gameplay is another.

Because it's easy adding BALANCED weapons without running into thousand of glitches, bugs and complaints.

I find before TF2 went F2P medic or Soldier where the least played classes, and now its demoman, seriously valve, you only have 3 (4 counting the sticky jumper) demo related unlocks, I bet when the WAR update was out, demo was crying in a corner because of his lack of demolition unlocks.

The chances of a Workshop weapon being added compared to a hat is pretty small. So no.

Demoman has the two shields. He has more melee unlocks than any other class (AFAIK), he has four secondary unlocks, and three primary unlocks (Booties reskins lol). Quit whining.

Demoman needs a new primary though... not just the Wee booties for demoknight. A diffferent stickybomb launcher would be nice too.
And although he has more secondaries, consider demo knight a whole different class...

Demoman has the two shields. He has more melee unlocks than any other class (AFAIK), he has four secondary unlocks, and three primary unlocks (Booties reskins lol). Quit whining.

Of course, you need to consider that two of the unlocks for the secondary slot function in a nearly identical manner, that one of the primary unlocks is passive and that Melee unlocks don't mean much since there are very few worth using unless you Demoknight; the Half-Zatoichi, Bottle and Ullapool Caber being the three possible choices. The rest are Demoknight weapons, and force you to use either the Chargin' Targe or the Splendid Screen; considering how the Stickybomb Launcher is a much more common and effective weapon, your point about Melee weapons is moot.

The Soldier has three Rocket Launchers that significantly differ from his Stock set, a Shotgun that provides a unique twist and three different Banners which accomplish different bonuses; the Melee weapons he has are also usable in any weapon combination, rather than being pegged to a certain playstyle. Your justifications are not valid; the only primary unlock functions in an identical way, minus Grenades that roll and a lower clip; those are two disadvantages that don't directly change the playstyle, unless you absolutely need to have a Grenade bounce, which does not happen often. The Scottish Resistance plays in a different playstyle, focusing on traps rather than direct combat, but that is a single weapon; all in all, the Demoman essentially has five choices in what he wants to use, barring a Demoknight strategy, which forces him to use one of the Shields.

I don't consider whining to be complaining about a legitimate claim, which is a lack of explosive based weaponry for the Demoman in comparison to the options a Demoknight has; a Demoman has the choice between two primaries and two secondaries, while the Demoknight can choose between all three primaries, two secondaries and any Sword or Axe, which forms a much larger arsenal than the Bottle type weapons and the Ullapool Caber. Please, tell me how his incredibly section of Melee weapons bolsters a variety of choice for the Demoman, and not the Demoknight.
