someone tell me whats going on?

this is on a mac os x. k this is whats happening. i start tf2 then it says i need to validate files. its freeze's at 100% so i wait. i wait 6 hours and still nothing so i hit cancel. then when i try to start it again, it says the game is unavalible at that time. someone tell me what do i do?!?

You restart it again. It'll work. It won't freeze at 100, just wait and sooner or later it'll say " All files successfully validated." Then you play.

delete the file client.blob in your steam folder it will reset and solve it.

i shut down steam multiple times and the same thing happens
