Team Fortress 2

Team Fortress 2

Possibly the worst scammer ever, but still giving a warning on here just in case.
So I was just chilling in tf2, going about my business as usual, when a random guy adds me.
Naturally I accept and ask what he needs, the following dialogue occurred. He was speaking in blue text to seem even remotely believable, but it was still quite hilarious to me.

Nish: hiya
Nish: waddup?
kronos Hello , I am a Steam Support manager and I must announce you that you got reported as an item duplicator . Do you know anything about it ?
Nish: nope
kronos Well , a lot of people tell me that
kronos I do not like to accuse anyone by one report
kronos But I must make sure
Nish: alright and what would item duplicating be?
kronos Using a leaked script that Valve uses to introduce the actual item in the system
Nish: I'm a complete computer ♥♥♥♥♥♥ so I highly doubt that, anyway, what do you want?
kronos Like I said , I must make sure . So I need to scan the source code of at least one of the reported items .
Nish: And how would you go about doing that
kronos I need them in my inventory to check the source code , so if you are okay with it , can you trade it over to me ?
Nish: seems legit
kronos Of course it it legit
Nish: alright you've been reported
Nish: so
Nish: have fun
Nish: bye mate
kronos is now Offline.

So, to warn any future "victims" of this extremely dangerous internet criminal, don't be an idiot. A steam support manager won't add you as a friend to ask for your stuff.

I know somebody duplicated my files off of TF2 when I was playing it while I was downloading a different game at the same time. I wonder if this person duplicated an item I had and how he managed to hack my account and why he didn't just hijacked it.

Was he after a specific item?
Thanks for the heads up, Nish. Dude seems like some one who rides the short bus to school

Heads up, Steam support won't never add you.

That's the most hilarious and biggest failure of a scammer I've ever seen, and I've seen THREE scammers.

Gotta love it when these people think that using blue text will somehow convince people they're legit
LOLS. And I believe you of course. I'll be on the lookout.

If they are Steam Support, they will speak like this:

" Hello. We've just found out that you are a scammer. As a punishment, you will be banned from this server until you stop scamming."

Not like this:

" of course it it legit"

IMPROVE YOUR ENGLISH, CRIMINAL WHO SLEPT AND DROOLED ON HIS BOOKS IN HIS ENGLISH LESSONS!

HA! HOW DO YOU LIKE THAT, EH?

There, done.

There are lots of guys like him, the owner of the account probably didn't write it to you. People usually hack people from other people's accounts. Never ever trust anyone like that.

Lol, what an idiot. I think this "scammer" is more likely to be scammed himself than to actually scam anybody. I thankses you for the heads up.

Remember when people didn't screech at you for naming & shaming? Those were the dark days.

No name and shame.
