Depends on the difficulty, the easiest one should be no problem, medium can be challenging and you need a good team to complete it and the hardest is pretty damn hard!!!

there are different difficulties. intermediate is quite easy, advanced is challenging but possible, extreme is very hard (of course, still possible) and requires lots of time if you're playing with randoms. if your team knows what to do, even expert can be easy, but to learn that, i'd suggest trying advanced mode first (or intermediate if you prefer rust/blood botkillers over silver/gold ones)

You forgot advanced maps, try those as well before attempting expert mode.

yeah - the top advice is given already - try Oil Spill first as its the simplest mission and work up the skill levels from there. The end reward is worth it too as the rusty BK weapons look pretty sweet

For me, i can easily play on expert (not bragging) on randoms on free MVM but im wondering if the lower ranks also give botkillers

It's not hard if everyone knows what they are doing. Just takes time to learn what and when to do things.

they do. rust/blood on intermediate, silver/gold on advanced, carbonado/diamond on expert. don't ask me what the hell carbonado is, probably a fancy name for coal :(

Put it this way: Intermediate can be done with 3 good players and some clowns running around. Advanced with 4-5 good players, Expert needs 6 players who really know what they are doing.

Communication often leaves wanting, so expect no help from that side.

Well, considering valve's overlooking of some MAJOR bugs, none are hard. But if you're looking for fair play, Expert is very difficult, so yes.
