I cant play tf2 it wont let me!

I try to play online and it shows me no servers. I know this is common but its different because refreshing wont do anything and restarting wont do anything. And if I try to join a game iin progress from my friends list it tells me something about not being able to connect and trying multiple times. This same thing is happening in gmod also so im guessing it will happen in css also. so that means its not just tf2 can someone please help??

i have the same probem i think it might be the new update i now it came out 5 days ago but it might be that taking affect mabey we will just have to wait it out

doesnt tf2 auto update?? if not how do i update it?

but all my other games work online such as gothim city imposters and terraria but im guessing its steam and tf2 problem and we will just have to wait probobly it updates itself but it can screw up server sand stuff like that

It might be your Firewall. It could be blocking the internet connection between you and the internet. Go into your firewall and look for Steam or Team Fortress 2 and let a full connection through. :D Hope i helped. ~ I had this problom before.

i have the same problem when i play are deathmarch or anything when it loads the resources it freezes

When I got the "Steam Beta must be running" in the server browser (and I couldn't join a game through Quick Match or through my friends list) I logged out of Steam, logged back in, Steam updated, and I was able to play again. So make sure Steam is up to date, not just TF2. If that doesn't help, then sorry no idea.

dude, refreshing does so much for you, you need to learn, and if its a cracked version of steam, then most likely the problem

I had the same problem, just try turning off your firewall.

guys im not freaking dumb you think I havent tried refreshing??? im gonna see if my firewall is blocking it but I dont think thats it oor else it may not have even let me start it up

This happened to me before. It's most likely your firewall blocking the connection. TF2 is most likely listed as HL2. Tell us if this works!
