wall hack or have I lost my mind?
Ok I was just in a server playing King of the HIll on Harvest I was on red. I was kicked for "wall hacking." This is what I was doing. I placed 8 sticky bombs on the control point (covering the entire control point) and then left the control point and waited for it to change color from red to blue. If the control point changed color i would detonate the sticky bombs no matter where I was on the map killing or seriously injuring anyone who attempted to take the control point away from the red team. I was told that this is wall hacking then I was kicked. The argument was that I should not know where the enemy is standing on the control point to kill them with sticky bombs unless i was wall hacking. Now maybe i am naive or crazy but if the game's Heads Up Display and the announcer pretty much tell the players whenever the control point is being taken over by the red or the blue teams there shouldn't be a need to hack period by any player playing demoman. Then there is the fact that the entire control point as stick bombs on it. Like there was nowhere to stand without a sticky bomb causing damage in some way (unless outside the control point) I mean anyone playing demoman using the sticky bomb launcher or the scottish resistance could just pay attention to those very subtle clues (they are not very noticeable clues...at all...) and act accordingly...is it me? Have I lost my mind? Is everything silly today? or was it a wall hack?
