This guy just scammed me out of my Team Captain, Winter Wonderland, and other good hats. How can I report this guy and get my items back?

Ima track this ♥♥♥♥er down until he gets banned and i get my itms back.

It depends on how he scammed you, did he shark you or did he just plain out scam you and you didnt get anything. I mean if he sharked you cant do much BUT if he totally scammed you and you got nouthing in return then what you need is screenshots of the event (like the chats and all that) and then you can report it to http://steamrep.com/ <--- steam rep

We were going to spycrab and he suggested a middleman. The "Middleman" sent me a trade and then just disconnected after we traded. I managed to get into his profile right after he left

No, he SCAMMED me. His "middleman" just left along with himself. He was using the name "Porky Pig", at first and during the trade he changed his name to "Increas Phantom"

EDIT: ima go back and ask the admin to send me screenshots of the chat. brb

the thing is that i dont have any solid proof at all. It's not like i take screenshots of evry trade i do. Can't valve look at previous trade chats or any typr of chat logs or something?

actually, i have one good proof. Maybe 2. I have in my trade history saying who I traded the items too. and also, I was talking to a very trusted (that I know for sure) soon-to-be admin on the server i was on. Is this good enough? I have no screenshots but I do have the trade chat.

just checked steamrep and they say that screenchots are required. And thats the only thing i dont have. I am sending a ticket to valve tho

you shouldn't trade outside of steam, read the steam trade agreement, anything you do outside of steam trade window is out of their hands. you need screenshots to report to the other sites anyways. steam only cares about what goes on inside their trade system, outside of it , its your word against the other guy. why would you trust a middleman anyways...

they wash their hands of responsibility for this stuff because while some people are really scammed, they would also be dealing with reverse scams where people claim scam to get their item back even if they lost the spycrab, valve understandably wants no part of such time consuming disputes.

its only proof things changed hands, its not proof of a scam.

So, it looks like I wont get my items. As long as that ♥♥♥♥♥♥ gets banned and unable to sell or trade my items is good enough for me. I just want justice served.

omg really?!!? thats great. just finished sending the ticket and I also requested chat logs if possible.

And you know what sucks about all this? I had epic luck for the past week, but then it came to this... Now I just hate myself
