FPS Issues
I absolutely LOVE playing Team Fortress 2 and just two days ago I've been able to. But since yesterday, I'm having incredible FPS problems in ANY server I enter. It doesn't seem to be my connection, although whenever I attempt to enter a server, it takes much longer to connect now. My latency and ping have remained the same, whether I'm on a Valve or community server.

I've also tested the game cache to make sure that I'm not missing a file for whatever reason, I wasn't. I also defragmented my computer and my TF2 file, neither of which helped. I've restarted Steam and my PC but that hasn't changed anything.

It might be my computer, although I don't know how or why since I haven't downloaded anything these last few days and there hasn't been a major TF2 update other than the Brutal Legend one which didn't have an impact on the game's engine.

So I'm hoping that this is just a temporary problem and this is happening to people besides me and can be fixed soon. Or if it's a problem with my computer it can be figured out. Honestly, I have no idea what's going on. I can't play GMod anymore after it upgraded back in October and if I can't play TF2 anymore for some reason beyond my control I'm going to scream.

Update your graphics driver?

I am experiencing the same issue. Graphics driver sare always up to date.

Very strange considering i have played the game for over 3 years without an issue and have not changed any hardware..

Even with low graphics settings i still get the same screwed up frame rate.

I might actually try rolling back to some older drivers. See if it is the new ones giving the issues.
