Tuxes Will be More Rare Than Buds
There are currently around 60K earbuds in TF2.
There are around 7K Tuxes and won't be any more than 30K by the end of the month.

I believe that they will become tradable eventually. And even if they don't I'm still up for having a rare item just to show off lol

I think it would be funny if they weren't tradable. Let the people who actually run linux keep what they earned. :P

It is, its called people aren't smart enough to successfully install Noobuntu, which is subjectively easier to use than Windows 7.

Dumb people. Instead of installing Gentoo or Linux From Scratch in like 5 min to get the Tux they fight through the hard way of broken Ubuntu.

Clever choice of words. However, while Gentoo or LFS may be quicker to install (like you said, in 5 minute), the configuring of these distributions afterwards would take much longer.

I suggest you go back to Reddit or /g/-Technology though, and stop trying to deceive other users.

Ubuntu isn't hard. I got it up and running just fine with hardly any trouble, and I don't even like Ubuntu.

Stop spreading FUD about Gentoo. Have you ever used it? No! I did! And I got the Tux with it in like an hour. 5 min for installing and setting up, 55 min for Steam and downloading TF2.

55 minutes for download Steam and TF2? What third world country do you live in? Yes I have tried Gentoo, if you want ulitimate customisability it is the way to go, however, new users should stick to Elementary OS, Mint or Noobuntu.

55 min for 12+ gb is slow? Good joke.

Ubuntu is ♥♥♥♥ and hard to use it's also bugged as hell. Windows rulez! Elementary OS and Mint are based on Ubuntu, so they are ♥♥♥♥ too. Gentoo is really good for noobs like you and me who just want to get their tux.

Yeah, people are going to seek wisdom from a linux n00b. You don't even deserve a tux...
