VALVe VAC never discusses bans, so you will never receive a reply from them about this. Also it can take a minimum of two weeks before any action is taken, so don't be surprised if you see that player on servers again.

I figured as much, it's just a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ thing to happen to basically just lose a bud. I'm having a really ♥♥♥♥♥♥ time lately (my father's been in the hospital since July 2012) and honestly TF2 has been one of the only things that's kept me sane in the last year. So yeah, Bad day.
