Is Tux Penguin the new Buds?

As you may have noticed, anyone who launches TF2 on a Linux machine will be receiving the Tux Penguin Item. I was wondering if it will reach the same value in trading as Buds have since the Mac release for TF2

I dout it will be tradble without the use of gift rap so.... that will drive the price down alot.

It won't, back then trading just started and people made the more limited items more valuable to help the brand new economy.

Everyone's trading nowadays, not to mention lots more alts too, so there's probably gonna be lots of Tuxes floating around.

Edit: Just read it lasts till 1st may haha. Craftable misc? 1.33 ref max for this. Is it craftable?

Cause if it's craftable the people with 100 alts with trade rights will be able to craft a free 33 hats, haha.

Weird, I clicked the first link in the tf2 news section in my games library and they claim 1st may. Must be their error then.

Edit: Jup, PcGamer has it all wrong. This thing will never be the new buds either way.

Can you give earbuds a Demoman or Pyro style? You can with Tux, I don't care how much he's worth to the trading community. :D So cool!
