TF2 causes monitor to randomly fall asleep
Sometimes, especially during an intense moment, TF2 will freeze for a second, my monitor will turn black, and a white box shows up telling me the monitor is going to sleep. Turning it back on does nothing, and the only way to exit as far as I know is to shut down the entire computer.

What do I do?

Could be that something is overheating or your video card is going bad. What OS? I had a Chinese (Galaxy GT 430) video card that began failing just after its 1 yr warranty ran out. Initially Win7 would blitz out and then say video driver was unresponsive and it recovered. In Linux the keyboard and mouse buttons would stop responding randomly, although, mouse cursor would usually still move. Replaced it with EVGA GTX 550 Ti w/3 year warranty and no problems since.
