Drop limit
what do you guys think of it?
I'm against it and want it removed, I love finding random drops! I keep the new items and scrap the dupes to later craft hats and stuff...

Already been a huge discussion on this, saying the majority wants it in otherwise the tf2 economy would crash due to overhauling idlers.
Next discusion please.

I agree with you because mann economy wants that some items like duty tickets, keys or some kinds of hats you can only buy but not find even though the store page of team fortress 2 says: "Tecnically, every item in the game can be found without buy it" it's false.
Finally if people can find more items will be better even for Mann Co. store because people need more space in their bag.
For me the weekly limit of drop items must be eliminated and all the items can be find, keys and hats too

You CAN get everything without buying them.
You appear to have overlooked trading.
And how does this link in with the drop limit again?

yes, but item drop don't release all items because people must buy at least one item (and they choose a item that you cannot find randomly) and then they can trade. Play without premium account it's impossible after about 80- 100 hours of playing

1. Buy an item you can find randomly
2. Trade for non buyable+buyable items
3. You just acquired a non buyable item without paying for it.
It's possible, just has a 30p pre-requieste before it, effectively making buyable items acquirable in the game without directly paying for them, which is what my point was about.

... ok, that's your way to think...
However I'm against buying videogames from internet and steam 'cause you don't know how much you spend, you see only that a number gets off from your steam budget.
So, for me item random are the better way to fight against mann. CO. store
THIS IS MY LAST COMMENT

This isn't relevant to this thread... and if you were paying attention you'd see that there was a pinned thread at the very top of the discussions page about this problem.

the devs stll have to make money you know?

TF2 is easily one of the most fair F2P games around

PERSONALLY, if i play a free game for 100 hours i feel i owe the devs some money for my entertainment, specially when they dont try to milk it from me, thats my personal opinion tough

I know, I tried to find it but to no avail, but it would kinda be useful of they had a counter that showed me how many drops I can find while playing so I know when Ive reached my limit.

I remember before I found items all the time, and once the items reser, I only found a measly 5 items and thats it, no more drops! at least give us all a good limit like maybe 25 item drops a week or something and a counter that tells us our limit.

Its a little annoying though, I dont trade, I scrap dupes and craft, and this item limit thing made me think my game was broken

I totally agree with you (though Im speaking as a someone who bought the game before its F2P release)
I used to not buy a thing from the store, but now I do, I even donated the map creators. they deserve it for all the entertainment and fun

but the item limit, I dont know what to say, I mean, what if its there to encourage buying from the store? Id be ok if they showed you your limit. BUt as someone mentioned before, it could be for stopping idlers

Don't duplicate threads especially if you're not going to add anything new to them.
