now there isnt even a point on disguising as teammates
Step 2: Shout "Ubercharge ready!" using voice commands.
Step 3: Stupid people turn tail and run.

In other words, YES, I listen to the medic!
Jeez, no medics even listen to that.
It can be useful for good Spies in certain circumstances, especially if they're playing unpredictably and consistently switching weapons to keep enemies on their toes, but in general, I see it used as a get out of jail free card by bad players. I've had some good Dead Ringer Spies switch around Watches in the middle of play, which really keeps you guessing unless you've got a way to track them consistently.
Dropping a body of an ally would honestly be a more skillful way to use the weapon; it's fairly obvious to detect an enemy Spy, but certain allies, in particular any ally when face with a Sentry, could cause a somewhat believable death with relative ease. The problem is that the Dead Ringer is already so annoying to deal with, especially if it's used by a bad player, that making it 'better' without making it require more skill is silly.
I mean really, when it gets to the point that an Engineer has to check for Spies after an enemy walks into his Sentry, well, there better be a huge disadvantage for using it; currently, for bad Spies, there really isn't. For good Spies, it's apparent, but if you're playing with good Players then they can deal with a Dead Ringer Spy easily; since it currently gives Spies an 'extra' life on a fairly consistent basis, allowing it to deceive players even easier is not something that should be in place.
