New things like Nuclear and Area Denial

I was thinking that TF2 needs to go nuclear or have some mechanic's dealing with nuclear fallout in game. Like an area or more gets poisoned from radiation. Probably a stupid idea.

Nope, and the SCout drinks every day something like.. 20 Bonks, who are radioactive beverage, and still doesen't have problem

best keep it with our current negative status affects (bleeding, mad milk, jarate, burning) and area denial class's (demo, soldier). i cant see nuclear outside of scouts bonk or current laser weaponery.

the Map De Rock had this 10 years ago. Take the Key to the wardens office and release the GAS (mapwide) anyone who didn't grab a suit gets poisened to death (mapwide).

I remade it for tf2.. it's easy to set a trigger 'damage' and set the whole map to kill for say.. 10 seconds...

anyways i dont think this idea fits TF2 well, i think TFC had grenades that did this area denial thing, and since grenades were taken out i guess the devs regreted that idea

TF had the demo man detpack that could blast open/close 3rd/4th routes on map.. only a few maps used this.. not sure why they removed that...wasn't a greande as such..

I was originally thinking of a nuclear radiation where people take damage in a map zone. I noticed that TF2 did a lot of Americana around the 1950's and the nuclear aspect seems lacking. Just would be something cool if they add something besides the nuka-cola. But not too damaging to the gameplay. Maybe a soldier nuka-rocket that does radiation damage, with less ammo and reload. Just something along more nuclear atom-spitting stuff. I think the mercs in TF2 would love to work in an irradiated wasteland anyways. Nuclear Sandwich.
