Only indirectly, AFAIK; a long, long time ago the Sticky Jumper gave its 100% explosive self-damage resistance to ALL the slots, not just the jumper -- so a skilled jumper could jump + caber and not worry about killing himself with the explosion.
Meh, the main thing that should be fixed for Demoman is really for the Demoknight -- point-blank bash + instant full crit is pretty ridiculous and is likely a bug.
