TF2 unplayable in Ubuntu, fine on same machine on Windows 7
TF2 works perfectly well on my Windows 7 partition of my desktop, so I wanted to give it a shot on Ubuntu. Everything loads fine, but when I play on the same graphics settings on the same machine, it has a horrendously low FPS making it unplayable on Ubuntu. Is there anything I'm missing?

you might have to turn down your resolution downn to a stpid low res or you might have to change how the graphics look in game sense it looks like a ♥♥♥♥♥♥ cartoon on steriods, might as well do that too

I dual boot my computer, because there are some things that I prefer to use Linux over Windows. Being able to play TF2 on Ubuntu would mean just one less than I'd have to restart my computer to change operating systems to do. I'll give lower graphics a shot later today.

Hey, I completely understand the boot thing. However, playing games on Linux when you have Windows?... don't sacrifice it man. Linux version still likely has a ton of bugs and even if they were fixed it would still run more optimally on Windows 7, so... just stick to that.
