Looking for a certain spy script!
Alright so I've been browsing the interwebs quite some time on the look for a special scripting command! So maybe the modders of you guys could help me out here.

basically I'm looking for a command that switches to your revolver (not to your sapper!) when your spy-cicle gets melted. Simply put: you touch fire ---> you switch to your revolver.
ITS SIMPLE AS THAT! because the least thing you wanna do when getting attacked with fire is pulling your sapper out, duh.
Yet I wasn't able to find ANYTHING of that sort on the web.

It's impossible as there is no way to hook the "spycicle melting" event up to a script.

I know. But at least one could attach the "revolverslot-comand" to "firedamage-trigger" in general, or something. Even if one wasn't wielding spy-cicle, changing to revolver once you get lit on fire would be totally legit as spy!

there isn't a fire damage trigger or anything like that in scripting.

THEN VALVE SHALL FIX THIS IN AN OFFICIAL UPDATE ! I DEMAND IT !!!
HOW CAN I APPEAL TO THEM???
I mean, it's so friggin anoying fact that as soon as you got your revolver out the 2secs of fire-invulnarability already diminished!

Because hitting 1 in your keyboard takes up two seconds.

Ahem, mousewheel? not everyone likes direct weaponswitch. Also there's a cooldown between switching weapons. I can't get why anybody can't see that!

I asked for this once and was told it is impossible.

Really? Really now? Come on people, it doesn't take that much effort to click the 1 key, located directly above your movement keys with another finger. You really need a script to change the way the gameplay works?

Step 1: Calm down
Step 2: Take out your Revolver
Congrats

If you run into a Pyro as a Spy, there are four outcomes.

1. you are dead.
2. You get a lucky backstab (Spycicle negates this option)
3. You shoot him with the revolver.
4. You get ignited, use Dead ringer, and make a run for it.

Which option do you prefer?
