yes, I like the randomness in pubs. but only pubs
On melee weapons yes.
I like how directly and noticably your melee crit chance scales with your damage done.

Otherwise they're bullcrap.
Just as bad as the randomness damage modifier on melee weapons and sniper rifles in my opinion.
Trying to dodge an insta-kill rocket is difficult.

Personally the only random critical hits I mind are melee weapons. I don't care for random critical hits at all even if I get them. They are however part of the game and I accept that.

They are okay, but in some situations they are an annoyance instead of a simple, random damage boost.
You're just one shotgun shell away from killing that Scout over there and suddenly he kills you with crit pistol shots.

IMO, I don't think the Ubersaw needs random crits, nor the Beggars Bazooka

A binary yes/no answer is a bit too simple for this question.

Pubs yes, because they add randomness and allow
people with lower skill to kill people with higher skill.

Competetive no, because comp matches are all about skill.
Competitive no, normal yes.
Can we have a third choice that seas hugs? ……………………..
Yes, as being killed when you completly outplayed someone and were about to destroy them with no effort on there part is perfectly balanced.
I hate melee crits.

Everything else is fine. Crockets are bull**** but it goes both ways.
I can't tell you how many times i have been saved by a random crit,so i think they are a good idea.but i dont like being on the receiving end though :(
