The Machina for the sniperis a one shot kill if charged up. I think that is overpowered. Do u think any sniper is overpowered?

i think the machina is fine cus the regular sniper can kill a buffed heavy in one hit as well and nobody says thats overpowered

you have to wait for that recharge time to get the effect and tracer rounds tell the team exactly where he is to smoke him out. you cant shoot unscoped so youre helpless for the few seconds where you are switching weapons. its not really op

You also can't shoot unless you're scoped in. To me that's a big bummer since I like using jarate as my secondary and I feel a little defenseless when someone is up in my face.

A kill is a kill. Bodyshot or headshot.

The damage bonus only kicks in at full charge and a Sniper who was able to build up full charge with you within his field of view would very well be capable of one hit killing any target just as well.
Not as easy, given, but to counter that the Machina gives away the Sniper's position and takes away no-scopes, his most effective means of mid-range self defence.

It is not op. It is easier to perform at a certain skill level then the stock, but after that skill level only servers to hinder. As almost any sniper can kill a overhealed heavy in one shot, it is not op for one sniper to do that slightly easier.

No no-scope shooting
Instantly position give away

A hitman's heatmaker in in the hands of a skilled sniper is more of a threat. But even then the opportunity to turn that into a death machine is limited.

Stock is still the best sniper rifle.

Percisely why I never use it. Stock is still the best sniper rifle.

Overpowered is the degreaser + Axtingusher (and skins).

Honestly, if you're a good sniper, I don't see why you'd choose the Machina over the stock. The downsides are way too high for the extra 15% damage and penetration shot.
