It requires skill and a little sacrifice in health and ammo for a momentary but potentially very useful gain in height. It's perfectly balanced and adds to the game's strategic depth and shenaniganability. I don't use it myself, but it's great and the game wouldn't gain anything from it's removal.

To be a good soldier, it's extremely important. The soldier gets a lot out of a good height advantage and it compensates for a soldier's slow manuverability.

It's essential to use but some people that do use tend to be ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ that automaticaly think they're superior to you because of it.

If you're jumping for good reason, like a faster rollout, sure.

My eyes are going be twitching if my team is full of jumper/mantread/gardener soldiers and the other team is generally srsbsns, however, since I don't find it fun being steamrolled.
