The first Polycount item sets required a hat to get a set bonus. Unless you mean new hats should have a bonus, in which case I disagree.

There are a few of these buff / nerf hats and they're usually obnoxious. +25 health for scout... ok, I mean, thats ok. Increased bullet damage to a speed boosted pyro? Ok. But Saharan Spy and Crocodile Sniper... yeah those are the ones I wish they'd just get rid of.

I mean, what are the other options? +10 fire resistance if your character's charisma exceeds 15?

The most recent weapons update was my favorite so far: it added weapons with real actual brand new mechanics. Weapons of this nature are the most fun for me, while weapons weapons like the reserve shooter just bore me to tears (reskin with identical mechanic, only with buffs/nerfs tacked on to create a marginally different strategy).
