my favourite maps are cp_coldfront, koth nucleus and koth harvest

my least favourite are pl_badwater and ctf_turbine

It's large, has a lot of rocket jump/stickyjump points, plenty of backrouts and alternate areas for spies, pyros, and sneaky teleporter placements. Sniper points, nooks and crannies for Sentry placement and enough leeway to have an area for every class to shine. Plus it was really well made and looks nice. (Payload cart launches a Nuclear missle too!)

Worst: ....actually dunno the name of it.

It's a CTF map I found one day that was basically an open bridge and hallways, it had 2 levels and the Intel was under a small bridge near the spawn points, if you fell to where it was there was only 1 way out, the map had an under portion that was again, two small ditches connected by a hallway with elevators on the leftand right paths back to the main bridge. It was by far the smallest map I ever seen and with 12 people running around it wasn't really that fun at all. I disliked it a lot hence why I didn't even bother to remember the name lol.

Best/Favorite:
plr_pipeline - It's a shame that I see so many people flaming this map. There are definitely choke points, but there is also plenty of routes to get past them (Except maybe the 2nd round, if the other team is smart. I'd say 2nd round is where things start to matter.). There is also plenty of room for several playstyles for all classes, and the final round has no setup time, making things pretty tense.
cp_gravelpit - This has to be my favorite Attack/Defend map. Plenty of room for to setup what you need and it's really fun to see how teams attempt to hold down their side of the fight. (I've actually seen a whole Sentry nest, wrangled and all, on the roof of B.)
ctf_sawmill - It's a shame that Sawmill doesn't play too often because I think it's so much better as a CTF map than an Arena one. Especially with the added Intel room, it's a fun map, to say the least.
cp_well - Well is a better Control Points map over a CTF map for the same reason as Sawmill CTF is better than Sawmill Arena. It's got more room and it's more fun.
pl_badwater - Had a hard time choosing between this, Upward and Frontier as my favorite Payload map, but Badwater wins because it's got a better design, IMO.
mvm_mannworks - Big Rock may have tougher robots, but Mannworks still reigns as the better of the two. Whilst Big Rock bigger, it still has a bottomless pit that Pyros gain so much satisfaction of using. Mannworks also plays the reset bomb trick better than Decoy, as the enemy can still shoot you from the small pit.

Worst/Least Favorite:
plr_hightower - I find it surprising people like this map so much. Although sometimes I can hardly disagree. This map is so bad it's good. It's the best map for Trolldiers, but it's also the best map for Mini-Sentries, something I don't find so bad, but very irritating to others. What irritates me about this map is the ludicrous chokepoints and high ledges that enemies can abuse. I've airblasted countless people over the side as they tried to push the cart up that stupid blasted hill, and the same has happened to me (Karma sucks). Even if you do get it up the hill, one must remember that the bomb is still directly infront of enemy spawn. I'd say a good 25%, if that, is attempting to push the bomb right in front of enemy spawn.
cp_junction - I probably shouldn't put this here. I haven't played Junction at all, but from what I've seen others say, it's even worse than Hightower in its design, so that's all I will say.
mvm_decoy - Such a bland map with stupidly easy waves. A single giant Heavy, carrying the bomb no less, should NOT be a whole wave.
tc_hydro - Oh, Hydro, how the mighty have fallen. This is easily Valve's visually most stunning map. What ruins Hydro is Territorial Control's concept. It's so difficult to not be forced into a stalemate, or to get destroyed by the other team. If this were an attack/Defend map however.......

Favorites:
pl_badwater: This map has a great structure and it is usually fairly well balanced between offense and defense. I love how it's designed to come down to the last point where some absolutely ridiculous stuff happens.
ctf_doublecross: Part of it might be the fact that this is the very first map I ever played but I find doublecross well structured. Whereas 2fort has a somewhat constricted central area in doublecross is open, and often sees a lot of action.

Least Favorites:
plr_hightower: Amusing, but hardly well designed, featuring what is probably the hardest cap in the game.
pl_goldrush: Actually I hate all of the payload maps that have multiple stages simply because it seems almost as if you always spend half of the time in setup.
ctf_sawmill: There is essentially no middle section of this map to control, meaning that it usually ends in charging to enemy spawn, and honestly, there is a reason all other ctf maps are symmetric.
koth_sawmill: I thought I would separate this one even though my complaints are mostly the same. Nevertheless I find the health packs on this map far to scarce.

My absolute favorite though is koth_delivery. It's a custom one but you should check it out!
