Gunslinger needs MASSIVE Buff.
Alright. As you guys know, the gunslinger is the worse weapon for engineer. I know this because I can't get kills with it, and I hear about it alot being complained about!

So, I decided to sit down and think of how we can make this trashy weapon better.
It was really hard, because the gunslinger is really unique, but after a few minutes, i thought of ways to balance it.

1. Allow engies to place 3 mini sentries at once. This will balance how weak the single mini sentry is, and allow the engie to trick his foes!

2. Inceased melee damage. it's a robot fist, so i think it should have higher damage. I think it should deal as much damage as the "Warrior Spirit" for heavy.

3. Add mini dispensers. Allow us to build up to 3 mini dispensers to keep an entire area healed for the team!

4. Lastly, the taunt kill should be given a larger reach, and it should have an attack time of 0.5 seconds. This would make it useful.

These buffs would allow the gunslinger engie to be successful, and maybe even get a few kills. Atm, the weak, single shooting mini sentries are too easy to deal with, and engies are left defenseless when the sentry breaks.
I think these buffs could turn that bad weapon into a brilliant weapon!

Opinions are welcome, as long as they agree with mine <3

oh, almost forgot to mention. The wrangler would control all 3, and connect their life force to create super defense sentries, to make up for the low sentry health!

I dunno, I think minisentries also need to have more power along with those to be balanced. Maybe make them do the same damage as a level 3 sentry, can't be balanced without it.

That's a good idea!
I also hink that alt fire on the wrangler should make them shoot a lazor.
That'd make them really unique!

This still doesn't make the Gunslinger good. The Gunslinger should just control the engineer, so the player can just do something else while he gets kills ingame. If that change makes it too strong, it can have 20% slower firing speed.

maybe make it so that if you kill someone with your gunslinger, shotgun, pistol, or minisentry all your existing mini sentries get their health and ammo refilled?

I always thought it'd be cool if the engineer can move his life force into his sentry when he dies, and if he gets a kill, it respawns him next to his sentry!

I think that, if you're hit by a Mini-Sentry, you should be marked for death for 3 seconds - refreshed every time you're hit. This would allow the Engineer to be able to actually kill something and thus be a benefit to his team.

Exactly, atm, the gunslinger is so weak, it's practically HELPING the enemy team!

you know why people complain about it? Because they hate it! everybody thinks minisentrys are OP and this is the first time in 2 years ive seen someone complain that it's too underpowered

you know why? because mini sentrys are extremely disposable
you can throw one down anywhere, literally, it has fast building time, spot on aim, and 100 hp
and thats the point
it CAN be destroyed easily, because you can put one down so fast!
If it were buffed in any area, it would be overpowered
you cant repair them, yes
so blow it up and throw down another, its called being DISPOSABLE. d-i-s-p-o-s-a-b-l-e

also, if you cant kill anything, you probably cant aim to follow up the damage the mini puts out
